In Hee Choi, M.I.P.A. 

In Hee Choi, M.I.P.A., is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Southern California Davis School of Gerontology, and a research assistant at the Fall Prevention Center of Excellence.  She has been working on various projects with Dr. Pynoos and Dr. Nishita concerning environmental modifications and fall prevention, with particular emphasis on the development of the home modification component of model programs, as well as on falls surveillance research in California.  She also contributed to the creation of an online home modification course entitled ‘Home Modification to Prevent Falls.’  Her research interests include the role of the environment in fall prevention (Pynoos, Sabata, & Choi, 2005), elder-friendly communities (Alley, Liebig, Pynoos, Banerjee, & Choi, 2007), and long-term care policy.
