Regina Gongoll M.S.G.

Regina Gongoll came to the Davis School after studying at the Institute of
Aging at the University of Arizona.  There, she developed a special
interest in the progression of Alzheimer s and Parkinson s disease and was
co-author of several studies.  While enrolled in the MSG program, she
completed an internship at Hospice of Pasadena, where she facilitated a
bereavement group for adults who have lost loved ones. That experience added particular importance to end-of-life issues in her career development.

During her studies at the Davis School, Regina consistently showed concern for minority groups such as gay and lesbian older adults, persons Regina calls “sadly under-researched and overlooked” in the field of aging. Regina always motivated others “to think out of the box”, an ability that will serve her well in her new position at the Fall Prevention Center of Excellence.

Originally from Germany, Regina is an accomplished journalist and author,
has traveled extensively throughout the world and brings a wealth of
knowledge and perspective to her new position.
