| Rachel Zerbo
Rachel Zerbo is the California Department of Public Health Project Manager for the Fall Prevention Center of Excellence. Since 1995, she has worked both domestically and internationally in the field of Population and Family Health. She received her MPH from Columbia University in 1997. She served as a Peace Corps Volunteer for 3 years in Burkina Faso, West Africa, where she planned, implemented, and evaluated projects focusing on reproductive health and child survival. In 2001, she joined the Department of Health Services as a Health Educator for a childhood asthma management initiative. Rachel is currently working on local and statewide partnership-building for the Fall Prevention Center of Excellence. Rachel’s inspirational Senior is her mother, Linda. After being diagnosed with osteoporosis in 2000, Linda began strength and balance training three times per week at her local gym. She also keeps active by going on frequent 10 mile hikes. Go, Mama!
