Advocacy Presentations

Many policymakers are unaware of the scope of falls in their city or county. Even if they are aware, they likely do not know what can be done to prevent them. Depending on the amount of time you are given, the following presentations can be used to raise their awareness of the problem while educating them on the opportunities for preventive efforts. Each presentation includes a suggested script as well as slides into which you can plug local data. Instructions are provided to assist you in locating these data.

If you do not have access to an LCD projector for your presentation, you can print the slides as handouts and distribute to participants for use during your presentation.
